Hi, I'm having a similar problem with the battery on my Inspiron 17 3737 laptop. When plugged in to the power supply I get the message "7% available (plugged in, not charging)". When I remove the cable from the laptop and reconnect, it shows the battery recharging for about 20 seconds and then it reverts to the non-charge state.
