02-01-2016 01:31 PM. Hi, I am new to the photography world, using my Canon EOS 600D since the past two years. I have off late only started shooting in RAW (.CR2) format, mainly RAW+L. What I have noted is that all my CR2 files have a darkish tone added to them when compared to the same JPEG formats. All pictures are all taken in the manual mode.
Advice please on correct settings for dogs, people & birthday cakes with people in them would be much appreciated. Also we live in an old house with a lack of lighting in all rooms. I have a "Canon EOS 600D camera, Macro & Telephoto Lens. The whole question is kind of ridiculous, there are no 'settings' for certain things.
Or you can navigate the menu to Flash Control > Built-in Flash Settings. Choose Wireless Function > ETTL or Manual. Decide on one of three options: 1) off-camera flash or pop-up; 2) off-camera flash alone; 3) off-camera flash + pop-up. Select Channel (set your off-camera flash to same channel). Set Exposure Compensation (or leave at default 0).
Most Canon cameras do not allow setting an exposure compensation value when using Manual exposure mode. Some models released since mid-2014 do include the option. This currently includes the EOS 7D Mark II, 5Ds, 5Ds R, 1D X Mark II, 5D Mark IV, 80D, etc. but none of the Rebel/x00D/x000D series.
There you’ll find my custom settings for the Canon T3i (600D) to help you take better photos. These cheat sheets we’re created for beginners. It essentially walks you through the entire setup for photographing things like portraits, sports, landscapes and more.
You can use the image stabilizer in AF, PF, or MF mode. Set the STABILIZER switch to ON. Select the stabilizer mode. MODE 1: Corrects vibrations in all directions. It is mainly effective for shooting still subjects. MODE 2: Corrects vertical camera shake during following shots in a horizontal direction, and corrects horizontal camera shake
